REBECCA SILBERMAN
Rebecca Silberman received her BFA at Longwood University before moving on to Bowling Green State University in Ohio where she received her MFA in Graphics (photography, drawing, print-making). She has exhibited her installation and mixed media works in galleries and museums throughout the country and has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the 2008 Residency Award, Paris Atelier in La Cite Internationale des Arts for collaborative works and an individual Artist Fellowship from the Virginia Commission for the Arts for Works on Paper.

In addition to exhibiting, Silberman often gives artist lectures and conducts workshops at colleges and universities across the country. Currently she is an Assistant Professor of Art at James Madison University where she also serves as Director of the New Image Gallery.
